With Everton suffering a 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth last Sunday as manager Marco Silva would’ve been looking to make it back to back victories following the interruption of the September international break, there was naturally going to be some fallout following the full-time whistle.
Sky Sports pundit and ‘love him or hate him’ Manchester United and England full-back Gary Neville, held a recent Question and Answer session on social media for football fans, and he admitted that his biggest frustration when it came to Everton was our inconsistent away form, given how we have shown we can perform on Goodison Park soil.

There will certainly be those in the faithful that agree, as whilst there’s room for improvement, so far in the 2019/20 Premier League campaign we are unbeaten at home, but are still waiting for our first three points on our travels.
Next Saturday sees newly promoted Sheffield United travel to Goodison for our next clash and with us looking to get back to winning ways once again, at least some fans will take the bonus of home comforts here.
