Everton could be without Theo Walcott against Arsenal on Sunday after Carlo Ancelotti admitted he’s “not sure” if the 30-year-old will be fit enough to feature.

Walcott is struggling with a knee injury that he picked up in Everton’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace (February 8), forcing him to be replaced by Djibril Sidibe after 25 minutes, and isn’t 100% ahead of the weekend meeting with his former club.

Ancelotti said in Friday’s pre-match press conference: “Theo had a problem, he started to train individually today. We will see (how he is). I am not sure if he is going to play against Arsenal.”

Walcott has made 23 appearances this season, scoring and creating four goals. He’s impressed under Carlo Ancelotti and would be a big loss for Everton. That being said, the Toffees do have a number of replacements if required.

Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean can all operate out wide to varying degrees of success, so the Everton boss has options in attack.

Everton will be in for a difficult afternoon regardless as Arsenal have lost just one of their last nine Premier League games. The Gunners currently sit 10th in the table with 34 points from 26 points and could leapfrog Everton if they come out on top.

What will the result be vs Arsenal on Saturday?
