Everton confirm that Theo Walcott ‘will be available’ to face Manchester United on Sunday after making a full recovery from a knee injury.

The 30-year-old was substituted in the first half of Everton’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace (February 8) due to a robust challenge that caused the injury and subsequently missed the Toffees 3-2 defeat to Arsenal (February 23) as a result.
Walcott is back, however, which is great news for Carlo Ancelotti as he’d been in fine form prior to the knock. The England international contributed two goals in his last two appearances, becoming much more of an attacking threat in games, so he’ll hope to pick up where he left off earlier this month.
Walcott has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating four goals, so his upturn in form has been significant. It remains to be seen if Ancelotti will put him back into the starting lineup, however, as Bernard and Alex Iwobi will be available.
Ahead of Sunday’s meeting, Everton are 11th in the Premier League table with 36 points from 27 games, boasting two wins from their last three.
