It’s not been the best season so far for Yerry Mina since his move from Barcelona to Everton. After a stellar World Cup, the Columbian came to the Premier League to help solve Everton’s defensive problems, and so far, he’s not had a chance.
He’s yet to make a single appearance for the Blues, owing to injury.
However, he’s now on his road back to fitness, and he’s doing it in style. Everton recently shared an image of Mina in training on their official Instagram page, and he’s rocking the brand new Toffees training kit.
It’s fair to say that we’ll be snapping up one of these sooner, rather than later.
The Everton defence hasn’t looked too bad this season, but there’s no doubting that the return of Mina will be a boost. The big Columbian was sensational over the summer, and if he’s half as good this season, he’ll be able to form a deadly double act with Kurt Zouma or Michael Keane.
He’s joined several other players in training this week, including the returning Andre Gomes.
