With Everton taking a 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane as we faced Bury the other day in our most recent pre-season friendly, a number of players have come in for criticism in the time since owing to their performance on the night and their performances at the club full stop.
Even former striker Kevin Campbell has spoken about getting rid of the deadwood and giving new manager Marco Silva the best shot at a clean slate he can have with his own targets moving forward.
Spaniard Sandro Ramirez was one such casualty from the game on Wednesday evening as he didn’t really take the chance he was given. Some think it’s proof he’s not good enough for us, others think he was trying too hard. The time for chances are running out though, whoever it’s fair to say Sandro was far from alone in being on the sharp end of some stick following the match.
Rubbish regarding Niasse. He was our best player yesterday! Not like he’s Pele or anything but there’s about 10 players we should get rid of before him. Fair point on Sandro.

I'm sorry but just don't see Sandro making it. Take any offers #EFC

Sandro is playing like a trialist, needs to calm down and stop trying too hard.

If Sandro Ramirez today hasn't convinced Marcel Brands that we need Malcom, then nothing will. #EFC https://t.co/svx37MxUl1

Please get rid of Klassen, Sandro, Martina and many other ain’t good enough and on silly wages.

I don’t think Sandro is good enough. His corners were great but his touch, decision making and execution in open play isn’t good at all.

Sandro runs around a lot but his end product is poor. Klaassen has good positional sense but his end product us even worse.
Safe to say, Koeman and Walsh really screwed up on these two guys who for their own sake as well as ours need to move on.— Andy Costigan (@AndyCostigan1) July 18, 2018
Unfortunately I don't think anybody will pay his wages

Just runs round in circles and end product is abysmal. Another absolute belter from Ronnie & Walsh.
