Everton have improved significantly under the guidance of Marco Silva this season and entered the international break on a high after a goalless draw with Chelsea.

That result at Stamford Bridge, a ground where the Toffees’ have historically struggled, has provided a solid platform to build upon in the coming weeks where Everton host Cardiff before making the short trip across the city to clash with arch-rivals Liverpool.

During the lull of the international break, one controversial report has picked up plenty of traction on social media after it was revealed all 20 Premier League clubs have been asked to contribute £250k to executive chairman Richard Scudamore.

The audacious amount of money would be a ‘gift’ to the outgoing Scudamore and fans of many clubs have understandably been left infuriated, making it clear they do not want to see a single penny handed to him.

Everton fans are no different and fans have reacted after it was claimed the Toffees are not commenting on the matter. We have gathered some of their reactions below.
