Everton’s season has had very few high moments, but when Richarlison hit the ground running, we actually looked like a solid side.
His form has definitely declined of late, though, and our top goalscorer – with ten in 25 games – has found the net just twice in our past ten fixtures, including the FA Cup.
Richarlison is not the only player the Goodison Park faithful have witnessed fall off the boil, of course, but it does not make for pleasant thinking to consider where we would be without the 5 foot 8 attacker.
It may have to be something that is thought about, though, as the former Watford man brought to Merseyside in tandem to his former boss has been linked with moves out of Liverpool already, with clubs in England and abroad said to be hunting his signature.
For some, however, his departure would not be that greatly missed, and supporters have been sharing their views on Twitter after one fan pondered; “Is he as dedicated to Everton as he makes out?”

He’s 21, scored 10 goals in a poor team, he needs to cut out the play acting and we’d have a great player. We’d never lose money on him let’s put it that way

He’s dropped in form but is still the best performer of the season. His decline in form has been the decline of the teams. Our top goals scorer and still our most obvious goal threat

He can be annoying at times with his decision making but he puts in a massive shift each week with his movement and pressing which goes unnoticed
