“Great Performance” – Pundit Praises Everton’s Wantaway Midfielder For Burnley Efforts

|

Former Everton player Leon Osman was on pundit duty for Friday evening’s penultimate Premier League fixture against Burnley at Goodison Park.

Everton did all they could take the battle for seventh spot down to the wire as a deflected effort from Richarlison and a goal from Seamus Coleman returned all three points, but poor form earlier in the season ultimately cost us as Wolverhampton Wanderers clinched the spot with their result against Fulham on Saturday.

With recent improvements though there’s reason for optimism ahead of the coming 2019/20 campaign and it will be another big summer for the club as we continue tweaking the first team group. With the futures of a few players in doubt, one of those is definitely Idrissa Gueye given Paris Saint-Germain’s January interest in him late on in the window, but credit to the Senegalese international, his performances haven’t dipped for us despite him wanting the move to go through.

Taking to social media after the game, Osman Tweeted.

Since arriving at Goodison from Aston Villa, Gueye has proven to be a bargain piece of business and if he does move on this summer, we’ll profit massively from his transfer, but we need to get the replacement right.
