Everton have come leaps and bounds under the guidance of Marco Silva this season, losing just two of their last eight Premier League matches.
While the most recent of those defeats came in Sunday’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool, the overall performance of the Toffees side attracted plenty of plaudits – with Barcelona loanee Andre Gomes catching the eye again.
The 25-year-old has quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Goodison Park after crafting an impressive partnership alongside Idrissa Gueye in midfield and the vast majority of supporters are keen to sign the Portugal international on a permanent basis.
That led to a discussion on social media regarding how much fans would be willing to pay to bring Gomes to the club permanently and there were a variety of responses, although the general consensus was that Everton should break the bank to secure his signature.
