With Everton going down 3-1 to West Ham United and clearly the visitors to Goodison Park just being a step above on the day despite our own efforts, manager Marco Silva’s honeymoon period may be over following the result – but Turkish international Cenk Tosun has certainly shouldered the blame following his own performance on the day.
The £27million signing has become a bit of a cult favourite for many fans for his efforts and with five goals in 19 appearances, it’s not bad when you factor in his adjustment to the top flight in his maiden year. The problem is in five games so far this season, he is yet to open his account and it’s beginning to hang heavy around his neck as perceptions begin changing in the fan base.
Tosun is honest garbage. Get rid of him

Tosun is stinking the gaff out here. Can't hold the ball up and it's catching our full backs up the pitch.

If tosun is being outmuscled by West Ham defenders it tells you his level

Cenk Tosun is not good enough

Utterly woeful defending. All started with Tosun not being strong enough up top though.

Gana has been a liability so far. Tosun a complete bystander.

The whole team have been rubbish. Can’t seem to pass the ball

West Ham was hardly a bright day for anyone, although a couple did do better to give some positives, but Tosun’s own performance on a number of levels left the above fans at least, absolutely fuming following the game.
With missed chances beginning to stand out, he’s becoming a man who desperately needs a goal to give him a lift and reduce the pressure.
