With Everton’s stated desire to shrink the first-team unit ahead of manager Marco Silva adding targets of his own, the futures of a number of players at Finch Farm are up for debate and with suggestions that Wayne Rooney will complete an impending move to DC United shortly, Oumar Niasse is the latest to feature on the rumour mill.
The Turkish press seem to be challenging the English red tops this summer with the amount of rumours coming from their portion of the planet, and the same is again true with Niasse being linked with Galatasaray.
Fanatik have reported that Galatasaray have expressed an interest in signing the man this summer, and they carry quotes suggesting he’s more than open to such a move.
“I don’t know what my situation is at Everton. I have not been told what the plans are regarding my future but I am under contract. I am open to joining Galatasaray, I loved my time in Turkey and they are playing Champions League football. The clubs would have to agree first though.”
Rightly the player doesn’t seem to say much as he remains under contract and it’s down to the clubs to agree a deal, but he’s clearly not ruling it out if those quotes can be believed.
There is some reason to be doubtful though, especially as if Everton entertain a transfer we’ll be looking for a financial deal that suits us but Galatasaray apparently have Financial Fair Play issues so would be looking for a loan initially.
In any event, some fans are happy to entertain the idea, others think he should get another crack at Goodison Park.
Get rid

Well Luke, we need only move up one place from last Season to get the nearest we can get to the top six.

I so pleased for what he's done for us. But I recognise that he's limited. I'd only get rid of him if something better came along.

Him or Sandro could be a decent third choice forward for us. Need another forward though
