Forgotten Everton man set for surprise move to Chinese side

|

Everton are battling to find consistency under the guidance of Marco Silva and have significantly altered their defensive ranks, bringing in the likes of Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne to the club.

That has affected the situation of other players within the side and one of those is 24-year-old academy graduate Tyias Browning, who has only been named in the first-team squad once this season – back in September before Mina and loanee Kurt Zouma were fully integrated in Silva’s ranks.

It seems that Browning’s time with the Toffees could be coming to a close asĀ Sky SportsĀ journalist Alan Myers states that the defender is set to complete a move to an unnamed Chinese club imminently – though it is not clear whether a deal would be permanent or on loan.

A loan may make sense given Zouma’s time at the club is short-term and Browning could be a valuable asset next season but it seems that Silva is not convinced about his talents.
