Everton supporters have reacted with delight over Marco Silva’s predicted return date for Andre Gomes.
Initially, it had been thought that our Portuguese midfielder may see out the remainder of the season on the sidelines (per The Sun).
However, in an update provided by Silva, in the pre-match build-up to the Southampton clash, the Portuguese manager revealed he may see the end of this season (via Everton).
With the news as music to supporters’ ears, the Goodison Park faithful took to social media to air their delight over the injury update.

The midfield maestro underwent surgery on Monday, which was successful and he was discharged from hospital on Tuesday to continue rehabilitation with the Toffees’ medical staff (via ITV).
With a long road of recovery ahead for the Portuguese 26-year-old (as per Daily Mail), many supporters were itching to see their man back in action this term.

The news of Gomes’ potential return this term is fantastic, and it will be a great afternoon at Goodison Park when the midfielder makes his way back onto the pitch.
