Explained: How much money Everton are demanding to sell Richarlison

|

Richarlison could have an uncertain future this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona being linked with his signature. The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful debut season at Goodison Park and has attracted interest from a host of European giants. Everton are keen to keep Richarlison, but they have reportedly told PSG how much they’d accept for his signature.

According to Le10 Sport, Richarlison will cost £65.5m to sign this summer. The Brazilian international earns £4.7m-a-year/£90k-per-week at Goodison Park too. He won’t be cheap, but his form over the last 12 months has been outstanding – 16 goals scored and created in 38 games (in all competitions).

There aren’t many clubs willing to spend so much on Richarlison which boosts Everton’s chances of keeping the forward, but he’s a highly-rated player with a bright future. In the Premier League, Richarlison has contributed a goal every 191 minutes. He’s created 21 chances, made 39 successful dribbles (48%) and has a 16% conversion ratio.

Everton paid £35m for Richarlison in 2018 and could land themselves 86% in profit if they do cash in on the Brazilian. If PSG lose Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler, they could make a move for Richarlison.
