Yannick Bolasie doesn’t appear to have a future at Everton and is expected to leave before the European summer transfer window shuts, but his next destination is unknown. According to Goal, CSKA Moscow, Celtic, Besiktas and Stade Rennais have shown interest in the 30-year-old and may only have to pay £5m to sign him.

CSKA had all but agreed a loan deal with a £5m buying option, but Bolasie wasn’t keen on moving to Russia. Whether he’s open to a move to Turkey, Scotland or France remains to be seen, however. His £3.9m-a-year wages could also be an issue, so the DR Congo international may need to lower his demands this summer.

Bolasie is on the periphery at Goodison Park and finds himself behind the likes of Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott, Bernard and Richarlison in the pecking order. He spent the last 12 months on loan at Aston Villa (August 25, 2018 – January 21, 2019) and RSC Anderlecht (January 31, 2019 – June 30, 2019), and hasn’t played for Everton for 16 months.

Since joining from Crystal Palace in 2016, the 30-year-old has scored just two goals and made four assists in 32 games and won’t be remembered fondly on Merseyside. Injuries depleted his playing time and he never returned to the level he was at with Palace.
