Without question, the arrivals of Richarilson and Digne have been to the delight of Everton supporters, but several fans feel that we need more players before the conclusion of the summer window. The latest name to be linked with a move to Goodison Park is Newcastle United’s, Jamaal Lascelles.
The Guardian journalist, Ed Aarons, has revealed that we’re interested in signing Jamaal Lascelles from Newcastle United. As we all know, we’ve been linked with moves for many centre-backs throughout the entirety of the summer, and with the imminent departure of Ashley Williams, it seems that the arrival of another defender is a plausible outcome.
The Newcastle captain is a tremendous player, who exhibits superb leadership qualities. One of his primary strengths is his ability to dictate proceedings in the air, and he’s technically sound; he’s an excellent passer of the ball.
