Big things are expected from Everton midfielder Tom Davies in the future and he is continuing to pick up accolades.

He’s not going to play every game this season but I do expect him to rack up a decent amount of appearances with Marco Silva obviously aware of his talents.

Silva and us as fans aren’t the only ones who know about what he could become, though, with him being on the list for the Golden Boy award ahead of December’s ceremony.

60 of the best young players under 21 get onto the list ahead of the awards and it is certainly good to see him up there alongside some of the greatest young players in the world.

For sure, he’d have to go some to actually win the thing but he has continued his progression nicely and is certainly a bright young midfielder.

Let’s hope this only spurs him on to do more.
