With Everton’s desire to shed numbers in the first-team playing squad to give new manager Marco Silva a tighter and leaning group to pick from in 2018/19, it’s no great surprise to read reports suggesting that the likes of Davy Klaassen, Ashley Williams and Kevin Mirallas will be allowed to depart.
Klaassen may have won himself a stay of execution with fans recently but it doesn’t mean Silva will follow suit.
Everton Midfielder’s Attitude Delights Fans Going Into 2018/19
The Telegraph did report late last night however that Frenchman Morgan Schneiderlin was likely to be given a second opportunity to impress despite his end to the season as a scapegoat for many.

They say that talks between the gaffer and 28-year-old player are already pencilled in for the return to pre-season training and Silva will be hoping for a positive response, and ideally, he’d like to use him as more of an offensive player in 2018/19 than we’ve seen since his arrival.
Fans remain torn on his qualities for us on the back of this report, but there are those willing to give him another shot if seemingly played in the right way to get the most out of him.
He can change under Silva he's an attacking manager, schneiderlin has been forced to play backwards cause we were a defensive team, hopefully Silva changes it up an schneiderlin can be good for us

Ye true, but I'd happily keep him if he plays like he did when he first signed which was attacking

Interesting that Silva doesn't appear to rate Klassen either.

Jesus H. Christ! ! What the hell does Davy have to do to get a chance?! And what has Morgan done to warrant being kept!?

That is so unfair on Klaassen. He hasnt been given a chance

Suppose we’ll have to see what the pre-season chat brings but you’d imagine Marcel Brands is fully aware of what Klaassen can do, so maybe that will play in his favour and he’ll get the shot plenty want him to.
