Everton are closing in on signing Lucas Digne with the player preparing to fly to England according to the Daily Mail.
It firmly looks as though the Frenchman is going to be our latest signing this summer with him wrapping things up with Barcelona at the moment.
Indeed, the report suggests that he is on his way to England imminently and so you’d like to think that this deal will be completed before the end of the week.
Certainly, he’s a good player with plenty of potential to get better and I’m pleased to see we’re addressing a weak area of our side.
The Verdict
It would seem Digne is next to come in barring any late twists of fate or the deal collapsing.
Of course, the final formalities need to be gone through but the hard bit appears to be done and it seems as though he is ready to come to Merseyside.
