Everton are looking to have a bright future and I think that there is genuinely cause for optimism and hope that that is going to happen.
The Blues should be competing for honours but, of course, money comes into things more than ever these days and we need to get ourselves in a better position with that.
We are on the right path, though, with ambitious, rich owners and a manager that plays great football that should attract good players.
And, crucially, we look set for a new stadium, of course, at Bramley Moore Dock.
We’ll all miss Goodison Park, of course, but sometimes these changes need to happen and it looks as though the club has taken another step towards the new ground:

It’s a long-winded process but now we’re open to suggestions so we’re getting that bit closer to things starting to take shape.
Eventually, it should prove well worth the wait.
