With Everton being linked with a move for Colombian international and Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, but the player himself indicating a preference to remain at the Nou Camp and fight for his place, it’s not the only deal with the Spanish giants the rumour mill has us investigating.
We have also reportedly launched a £22million offer for left-back Lucas Digne according to the Mirror.
The 25-year-old is said to be unsettled at the club and we are on the lookout for a long-term replacement for stalwart Leighton Baines as he comes towards the end of his Goodison Park career. On that basis, the rumour writes itself really as game time has been hard to come by for the player as he plays settle fiddle to Jordi Alba.
With the news breaking it didn’t take long for some Everton fans to offer up their thoughts on the possible deal on social media and plenty think Digne would be a worthy addition to Marco Silva’s squad.
Richarlson, Digne and Mina would be great additions to our first eleven if we can pull that off. Anything after that is just a bonus. Would be really pleased with that as a transfer window. More so if we ship some more players out too.

Will having two players of experience fighting for the same spot cause problems, I'm not sure, should we not look for younger left back who may have to sit out games on the bench knowing in a season or 2 he'll be No 1

Be happy with Digne tbh. Very good player. Baines legs are going. Needed back up for about 4 years now and to slowly replace him. Been criminal how we've neglected that area imo.
