Things have certainly started well under Marco Silva this season and it seems that the players are certainly happy.
He’s a top modern coach with plenty to prove and it certainly seems as though he has started the job in decent fashion.
It sounds like he’s had a plan for all our players meticulously, too, with Tom Davies revealing the conversation he had with Silva when he first arrived.
As per the Telegraph, he said:
“He asked me what I thought were my strengths. He said he wanted to know my opinions because he had opinions, too.
“I felt he had a plan for me. He is someone I know I can improve under. The way it is going so far is the way I like to play. He has found a position that suits me so I’m looking forward to it.”
Clearly, Silva has got a plan for all of our players and it is certainly refreshing to see such planning for even a youngster like Davies.
Arguably, players like him need it more than others given the stage they are at in their careers and so it remains to be seen exactly how he improves in the coming seasons.
We all want to see him break through and become a top star, though, of that there is no doubt.
