Cenk Tosun has been comparing the way we played under Sam Allardyce to the way we play under Marco Silva now and it’s safe to say he likes the change.

The Portuguese manager replaced Allardyce over the summer and it is easy to see how we have improved with our style of play so much nicer and more effective.

Certainly, we should be aiming up this season with the way we are going and Tosun is forming a fine relationship up top with those around him.

For sure, then, the players are enjoying it and Tosun has had this to say about the change in styles to Yenisafak via SportWitness:

“Our manager changed, there is a younger, hungry coach. He plays an offensive game. Of course, this is my business. This year we play football a little better.”

We do play football better and we do have a hungry coach compared to Allardyce who always seemed to be a short-term option despite what was being said.

Now, then, we need Cenk to start firing in the goals more frequently.
