Everton are ‘sounding out’ a move for Lorient striker Terem Moffi in the January window, with the Nigerian looking set to make a switch to the Premier League in the near future, according to recent reports.
Moffi moved to Ligue 1 side Lorient in 2020 after a very successful half-season with Belgian side Kortrijk, where he scored 5 goals in 9 league games.
The 23-year-old has played in a number of positions across the front line and has proven himself a constant goal threat, scoring 33 goals in 88 appearances in France so far.
He scored 14 times in his first season in France but looks set to break that scoring record this season having scored 10 goals in 16 matches already this season.
According to Sport Witness, Everton are thinking of making a move for the Nigerian striker during the January transfer window but they will face some competition from fellow relegation candidates Southampton for his signature.
