According to the Daily Star, Everton have been among the clubs to send scouts to watch Atletico Madrid forward Gelson Martins in action.
The winger signed for the Spanish side in the summer amid plenty of speculation and it looks as though the interest in him is far from abating at the moment.
Indeed, he has shone out there with explosive pace and attacking verve and it has been suggested by the report that the Blues are among those to send scouts to watch him.
The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham have also apparently gone to have a look at him recently, too, and so it remains to be seen exactly whether someone will make a move for him soon.
With him only joining the La Liga side in the summer, though, it surely seems unlikely that he’ll be moving in the January window to say the very least right now.
