According to the Mirror, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes have both agreed to join Everton this summer and will be featuring in Blue next season.

The Mina deal has gone on for weeks and, I’ll be honest, I had my doubts that we’d be seeing it go through.

Gomes, meanwhile, appears to be a late thought in the window as we look for some creativity in midfield and it appears both are now joining from Barcelona.

£29m is reportedly being spent here, too.

The Mina arrival is £27m for a permanent move whilst Gomes apparently joins on a season-long loan for a fee of £2m.

It certainly adds a serious chunk of money to our total spend already, then, but you need to splash the cash these days and it certainly looks as though we’re very flush indeed.

Now Marco Silva needs to get these players all gelling and working together in the coming weeks.
