Plenty of Everton fans have been left salivating over one transfer report that emerged over the weekend.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees are keen on signing Burnley winger Dwight McNeil with his manager Sean Dyche admitting he could be sold this summer due to the club’s financial situation.

It’s also claimed that Manchester United and Crystal Palace are interested in him too.

The 20-year-old has been ever-present for the Clarets this term, providing two goals and six assists in 32 appearances, via Transfermarkt. He has also averaged 2.2 dribbles, 1.4 key passes, 1.3 shots and 1.3 tackles per game in the top-flight.

Would you like to see Dwight McNeil at Goodison?

Absolutely!

No thanks!

No wonder some at Goodison Park are excited by the prospect of this move.

As per the Burnley Express, CIES Football Observatory valued the young prospect at a fee of €54.8m (£50m) back in January, but it remains to be seen just how much he’d cost at the end of the current campaign, particularly given the precarious financial situation at the Lancashire outfit.

Some supporters called him a “standout” for their PL rivals whilst others would “take him all day” at the Toffees.

Here’s how the rest of the fanbase reacted…
