Everton are back in Premier League action once again this evening as they face a trip across the country with Carlo Ancelotti’s men surely looking to build on Sunday’s impressive display.

The Toffees kickstarted their return with a goalless draw against arch-rivals Liverpool and were arguably the better side throughout the match.

But with so many games coming thick and fast in the next three weeks will Ancelotti ring the changes? Here’s what we are predicting…

The Italian boss handed a shock debut to academy prospect Anthony Gordon, though he struggled to make much of an impact against seasoned veteran James Milner.

He could be one of three changes this time around.

Jordan Pickford and the back four in front of him should all remain as they were, especially with Djibril Sidibe and Yerry Mina both ruled out.

In midfield, Gylfi Sigurdsson could be handed a start following his impact from the bench at Goodison on Sunday. If so, he’d likely partner Andre Gomes in the Toffees’ engine room with Tom Davies being dropped.

While Richarlison could drop back to a wide role in order to accommodate the final two switches.

Bernard may replace Alex Iwobi, who was thoroughly below par at the weekend with Moise Kean taking Gordon’s spot.

The £22.5m-rated forward is yet to hit the ground running in Merseyside with just one goal but his presence will certainly be needed throughout the remainder of the current campaign.

It means Ancelotti sticks with a 4-4-2 formation but the divisive 20-year-old will partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Richarlison going to right-wing.
