Gylfi Sigurdsson enjoyed a good weekend last time out as he helped us beat Fulham in pretty sharp style.
The Icelandic international has massive quality in his boots and it is clear that he is one of our best players.
What we need from him, though, is more consistency and after last weekend we’ll now be expecting him to produce more of than on a regular basis.
Indeed, we’ll also be looking for the club to replicate more of the performance against Fulham last time out in the league and Sigurdsson has been talking about that to the club’s media.
He was reflecting on his strike as well and so in the club’s Twitter thread we can watch the goal back and then take on his comments:

For sure, we need to raise the tempo more in games and last time out in the league we eventually did that.
Play at such a pace and we’ll get results, there’s no doubt about that.
