There was a lot of talk of a potentially weakened side for tonight’s Derby with the semi final only a few days away, but blues manager Roberto Martinez has gone with a strong full strength side.
Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Lennon, Barkley and Lukaku all return to the team that stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Southampton at the weekend.
The only players missing from what would arguably be Everton’s strongest side are right back Seamus Coleman and captain Phil Jagielka.
Once again Everton’s bench is a bizarre selection of midfielders and no defenders, with Martinez proving to have had little faith in any of the U21 side proving capable of stepping up in such a game.
