It looks like David Moyes has missed out on another transfer target.
The Everton boss is not having much like during this transfer window.
First our hopes were dashed by Landon Donovan not being fit enough following non-stop football over the past 18-months to join back up the squad for a second spell at Goodison Park and now it seems a second rejection in the form of Dieumerci Mbokani.
Mbokani was rumoured to be who Moyes had penned all our hopes on during this transfer window.
A striker who knows where the net is, something we have been missing this season and a position we are extremely light in following the loan moves of Yakubu and Vaughan.
But the Monaco striker appears to be on the move to Germany, with Monaco’s general manager Marc Keller telling the French press: “Dieumerci Mbokani will be joining VfL Wolfsburg.’ Which seems pretty final to me.
So with only a few days remaining who will Moyes turn too next?
