Everton man appears to want exit from club

|

As quoted by Canal + – via Sky Sports – Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has said that he regrets not moving to PSG in the January window.

The midfielder is back in the fold for the club and played in the draw with Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Sunday afternoon.

He’ll be a regular for the rest of the season you’d have thought, too, because he has obvious quality in the middle of the park.

It seemed as though he’d be gone in the window, though, with PSG evidently massively keen on him but it fell through at the last minute.

He clearly wished it hadn’t, though, with these rather blunt comments taken by the French outlet.

“I was disappointed not to join PSG because it’s a big club and all players dream of playing in the Champions League and winning trophies.

“I was ready to go. It did not happen.”

Whether he moves in the summer, then, remains to be seen but you’d have thought we’ll still get a good price for him given his ability.

And, if he does want to move, it probably is best to cash in and let him do so.
