According to the Mirror, Everton are taking a closer look at Danny Welbeck with him struggling for game time once again at Arsenal this season.
It seems like a move that has always potentially been on the cards in recent years and though there is no sign of it definitely happening, it is clear he could be on the move.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are ahead of him in the pecking order at Arsenal and they certainly look pretty sharp.
With his career starting to get towards the last few years, too, he’ll be wanting a move to make the most of the talent he’s got.
We need an extra presence going forward, too, and so he might be an ideal signing though it remains to be seen just whether or not he’s the exact one we need.
Certainly, he’d have to prove his fitness first of all if he joined.
