The decision to let Henry Onyekuru leave the club on loan to Galatasaray seems to be paying dividends already with him getting off of the mark at the weekend.

The striker is big and powerful with pace, too, but perhaps isn’t quite good enough or ready to make a real mark in the Premier League.

He might not be that far off, though, with him scoring for his temporary side at the weekend as Galatasaray beat Goztepe 1-0 to keep pace towards the top of the league.

Certainly, playing in a decent division for a big club at the sharp end will do him good and, in turn, it’ll help us out as well.

It was a lovely goal, too, as he lobbed the keeper from outside of the penalty area first time and so if he can score a few more like that we could be in for a real thrill ride having him at our club.
