With the new season fast-approaching, there’s considerable pressure on the club to conduct our transfer business swiftly. One of the recent names to be linked with a move to Goodison Park is Everton’s Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Daily Mirror, we’re interested in signing Crystal Palace’s star player, Wilfried Zaha. Nonetheless, it’s reported that the South London side are demanding a staggering £60M fee for his services.
Without question, Zaha is incredibly gifted, and he has established his status as one of the most exciting players in the Premier League. Although, even in today’s ridiculously inflated market, their evaluation seems to be extortionate.
Verdict:
It’s clear for all to see that Zaha is a gifted player, who demonstrates incredible skill and quality. That said, a fee of £60M seems rather far-fetched, and personally, I would rather spend that money on several good players as opposed to one player.
