With the deadline around the corner, we don’t have long to complete deals for new arrivals. One player who has been continually linked with a move to Goodison Park is Moussa Marega.

According to the Daily Mirror, we have a “strong” interest in the services of the Porto forward. The 27-year-old enjoyed a tremendous season for Porto last season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions, 22 of which were scored in Liga Nos as his side won the league.

Marega doesn’t have an established history of scoring goals in large quantities, but over the course of the past two seasons, he has scored 37 of his 56 career club goals.

Verdict:

The 27-year-old displayed his ruthlessness in front of goal last season for Porto, and he’s regarded for his treasured versatility – Marega can play anywhere across the forward line.  The Mali international is the complete forward; he can dribble, he can pass, he can score – he would be a great asset to the team.
