Everton have the weekend off this time around as we continue our preparations for Watford on Monday evening.
Manager Marco Silva hosts his former side at Goodison Park for the clash, and having taken a point from the midweek Newcastle United game, the aim will be to pick up all three at this time of asking and perform in a similar vein, but with a greater clinical edge.
Richarlison should also be looking forward to making a point to his former side.
Physioroom.com’s injury table as of the time of writing lists only midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin as a doubt with a leg injury.
They timeframe the problem as being up to three days, so it’s entirely possible the French international could come back into the gaffer’s plans for the game. In fairness, Silva stated that he may have returned for the last clash but obviously that didn’t happen, so if we were only being slightly cautious about him and giving him a touch longer to train, it wouldn’t be that much of a surprise to see him back in the matchday XI.
The worry is, Scheiderlin wasn’t on their last update as I covered it.
If he does make the match, it’ll be his first appearance since October 6 and the victory over Leicester City.
