The name Hirving Lozano is hardly new to Everton fans this summer.
The 22-year-old has been pretty regularly linked with a switch to Goodison Park following the arrival of Director of Football Marcel Brands from PSV Eindhoven and recent reports built further on those rumours with the suggestion that Brands is not contractually prohibited from dealing with PSV this summer should we chose to.
Brands picked up Lozano last summer from Mexican side Pachuca, and the attacker enjoyed a good first season at the Phillips Stadium, scoring 17 times and providing eight assists as they lifted the Eredivisie title.
Whilst the same might not be new for fans, many wouldn’t have seen him in action previously and the Mexico v Germany clash on Sunday did present them with an opportunity to view him in action and he didn’t disappoint, scoring their winning goal in the first half as they sent Germany to an opening day defeat for the first time in a number of years…I believe 1982.
His overall play certainly excited fans, although as some pointed out if we sign him for the reported £42.5million it could take to secure his signature, it might call into question the future of Ademola Lookman unless one of them was to go to the opposite wing or played more through the middle.
There are a number of options available though, but the biggest two questions are:
Are we interested?
Without players moving out, after previous spending, is the figure talked about doable?
Would sniff joachim low's fingers if it meant Everton signed Lozano.
Imagine him on one wing, Lookman on the other and Sigurdsson behind Tosun.
Be alright that.

Lozano and Lookman both play down the left. If we are able to sign Lozano, I’m afraid of what that would mean for Lookman’s Everton career.

Could certainly go along way towards transforming us.

Be good to have 3 decent wingers cos Walcott can also play down the centre if needed
