Recent reports are suggesting that the Everton hierarchy are eyeing their former manager, Roberto Martinez to replace current manager, Frank Lampard as pressure mounts on the Englishman.
In their most recent match, Everton lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, making it 6 losses in their last 8 games.
This recent lack of good performances has started to mount pressure on manager, Frank Lampard to keep his job, with his side currently sitting just one point above the drop zone.
However, the blues now have a 6-week break before their next competitive fixture because of the World Cup break, meaning Lampard has a few weeks to try and improve his side’s poor form of late.

Since then, the Spaniard has been the manager of the Belgian national team. His time with the ‘Red Devils’ has not been very successful, however, not managing to win a trophy with what many have described as Belgium’s ‘Golden Generation’.
The 49-year-old was reportedly on Everton’s list of potential replacements for Rafa Benitez after his sacking, but the club decided to employ Frank Lampard after some backlash from fans.
Although Lampard probably still has a few games in order to maintain his job, his future on Merseyside looks like it could come to a premature end.
