Everton Expect Duo Back For West Ham Clash, But We Wait On Two More

|

With the March international break now behind manager Marco Silva, he’ll be looking for Everton to end the campaign on a high after previous wobbles and there’s no better place to ensure the break worked in our favour, other than by taking all three points off our trip this weekend to the London Stadium to face West Ham United.

Saturday’s later kickoff in the Premier League pits us against Manuel Pellegrini and with victory we could potentially put ourselves back into eighth place in the top flight table, depending on results elsewhere. We do trail West Ham by two points.

On an injury front, PhysioRoom.com have four players listed as being out.

Yerry Mina’s hamstring problem leaves him tagged as a major doubt with no return date, as is Lucas Digne with a thigh problem of his own. Both are loosely expected back some point in April.

Knocks for Andre Gomes and Phil Jagielka are expected to clear up for the weekend though with return dates listed as being Saturday itself.

Confirmation of this will be with us later today or tomorrow when Silva addresses the media and gives a full update.
