Everton could be without Fabian Delph against Leicester City as the 30-year-old has a ‘50%’ chance of playing on Sunday. Delph has been out of action since early-November with a muscle injury and may not be fit to face the Foxes.

What will the result be vs Leicester?

The midfielder has made only three Premier League appearances since September, sitting out of Everton’s 2-0 win over West Ham United (October 19), 2-1 win over Southampton (November 9) and 2-0 defeat to Norwich City (November 23) due to injury.

Delph has made 10 appearances in all competitions since joining from Manchester City over the summer. His last outing in an Everton shirt came against Tottenham Hotspur (November 3) and saw him pick up a knock at the end of the game.

The Toffees are enduring an injury crisis in midfield which limits Marco Silva’s options – Jean-Philippe Gbamin is recovering from surgery on his quadriceps, Andre Gomes is recovering from a broken ankle and Beni Baningime picked up a knock playing for the u21s in midweek.

Morgan Schneiderlin is likely to partner Tom Davies in midfield due to a lack of fit and available options, but whether the pair can contain the likes of James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Wilfried Ndidi over 90 minutes remains to be seen.
