With less than two weeks remaining in the transfer window, it seems that the club are intent on concluding key deals before the deadline strikes. One such deal involves Barcelona’s Yerry Mina and his potential move to Goodison Park.
According to Goal, we’re on the verge of signing Mina from Barcelona for a fee of £27M. Despite only arriving in January, and despite his impressive performances at the World Cup with Colombia, Barcelona are allegedly prepared to cash-in on the defender, by accepting our offer.
It’s believed that Mina has attracted interest from a whole host of reputable European clubs. Thus, this deal would represent a significant coup for the club.
Verdict:
At the age of 23, Mina is endowed with considerable potential, and he also demonstrates an abundance of quality. The 23-year-old exhibits good technical ability, and he’s especially potent when attacking set-pieces. In addition to his impressive aerial ability, he’s a tremendous tackler. He would be a great acquisition.
