According to Yahoo Sports, Wolves and the Blues are looking into signing Marcos Rojo from Manchester United this summer.

The 28-year-old defender has been with United for a while but perhaps isn’t the calibre of defender that they really need.

And, saying that, though he is decent I am not too sure that he is exactly good enough to come into our side and improve things.

He likes a challenge which is not always a bad thing but he is rash and I also have doubts about his defensive acumen.

Going forwards, too, his end-ball could be better and I don’t see him being better than what we’ve actually got to be honest – not by a clear margin anyway.

The Verdict

For me, this is a deal we should let Wolves win if Rojo is allowed to leave by United.

He’s got a decent CV and can be a good defender but I just think there are too many question marks over him.

We need to start signing players that will definitely improve our first XI.
