Everton today have announced the free signing of former Burnley defender, James Tarkowski on a 4 year deal and he will wear the number 2 shirt.

At the start of June we reported that Everton had offered Tarkowski a contract, but he would only decide upon his return from his family holiday.

Now that Frank has confirmed his first summer signing, he will surely be looking to move one of our defenders. Michael Keane did not have the best of seasons last year and with Yerry Mina in the final year of his contract, Mina would be the sensible option.

In another article posted last month, we looked at the possibility of moving on Yerry Mina, with Inter Milan being admirers of the Colombian centre-back. If Frank was able to get Mina off the wage bill, it is reported by [SalarySport] that Everton would save £6,240,000 a year, £120,000 a week or do we risk losing him for nothing

next year?

With Romelu Lukaku back at Inter Milan, surely any move for Yerry Mina will be put aside for another time. However, reports from his homeland in Colombia have linked him with a £17M move to French runners-up Olympique Marseille via [Colombia Detail Zero].

What are your thoughts on the signing of James Tarkowski?

Should we look to move Mina on now and get a fee?

Who should we look to bring in next?
