An Everton interest Burnley boss Sean Dyche is being reported.
Dyche, according to Sky Sports sources, is a favourite as the Blues look to find a replacement for Ronald Koeman.
There might be an interest but the same Sky report went on to say ‘another source has told Sky Sports News that any approach for Dyche is not imminent,’ who continued to play down interest when commenting after leading Burnley to victory over Newcastle on Monday evening.
As things stand it is thought David Unsworth remain in caretaker charge for Thursday’s Europa League meeting with Lyon and the next Premier League game against Watford, another of Dyche’s former clubs.
Could Dyche come to Goodison Park? He’s certainly proven himself as a fine manager, most definitely in the topflight and, with all due respect to Burnley, which could prove to be the perfect fit for him, if the Blues aren’t able to lure him away from Turf Moor someone else probably will in time.
I think we could do far worse Dyche and wouldn’t be against his appointment, but he could well take a ‘grass isn’t greener’ approach and decide his current project at Burnley is the better bet and one he should continue with for the foreseeable future?
Whatever happens we probably haven’t heard the last of these rumours… We’ll see what does transpire beyond speculation.
