A few Everton fans have been sharing their thoughts on the club’s upcoming schedule, after we were drawn to face Liverpool in the FA Cup Third Round.
Our upcoming run of games now features two clashes at Anfield starting with Wednesday night’s Premier League meeting, while also pitting Marco Silva’s men against Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal before December is over, plus our Carabao Cup Quarter-Final with Leicester City.
Come the New Year after rounding out 2019 with league fixtures against Burnley and Newcastle United comes a trip to Manchester City, before playing Liverpool in the FA Cup just days later.
League action then recommences with the arrival of Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park before we travel to West Ham United, in a run of fixtures arguably a lot more winnable than our December schedule.
However, our run between the end of February and start of April throws up another challenging batch of games, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur all to play in the space of seven matches.
What should be the club's priority?
Premier League
Carabao Cup
FA Cup
With a run of games like ours, there are a few supporters not feeling overly optimistic of our chances of performing strongly across all competitions this season, judging by some of the messages shared on social media of late…

If we were in any sort of form I could see us getting points off Chelsea, Burnley, Arsenal, Brighton at home and maybe Newcastle away….but we’re not, so we will probably lose all 10 and quite comfortably 😩😩😩
