It’s being reported that Everton have now agreed a deal with Besiktas for striker Cenk Tosun.

Within the last hour the BBC have started to report that a deal is now in place for the 26 year old and they suggest Everton will cough up £27million for his services.

With a deal agreed, it’s said we are now working on personal terms and Tosun is in London as he awaits permission to make the move and meet his new colleagues.

The BBC go on to say that following talks with club President Fikret Orman on Wednesday we got the green light for the deal, and manager Sam Allardyce is hoping to see him registered in time to potentially make his debut in the Merseyside clash against Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup this Friday.

‘We’ve agreed a deal and are at the stage of personal terms.’

Tosun would of course be Allardyce’s first capture at he club after he replaced Ronald Koeman and even though it’s speculated we paid a couple of million more than we wanted, after Romelu Lukaku’s depature we have certainly lacked a punch up front so hopefully the Turkish international would tick that box.
