Everton held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, a result which came after a fine performance from Marco Silva’s side.
The Toffees have historically struggled in their travels to West London and the fact that Maurizio Sarri’s side are undefeated in competitive matches under his guidance left the odds firmly stacked against Everton heading into the game.
However, the Merseyside outfit performed superbly and while fans are pleased with the performance, many have been unable to hide their fury at one particular incident during the game.
Former Napoli midfielder Jorginho earned a yellow card for a reckless challenge on Gylfi Sigurdsson that left the Iceland international out of his nation’s fixtures in the next two weeks after he left Stamford Bridge in a protective boot.
