Speculation this summer about the future of Yannick Bolasie is hardly new, the Everton winger has fallen out of favour with a large portion of the fans following his performance upon his arrival from Crystal Palace, and his long-term injury and subsequently being pushed back into action too quickly certainly didn’t help on that score.

With links to Turkey and Fenerbahce being hugely popular in the press these last few weeks, the latest talk is of a return to Selhurst Park and his former club.

The Guardian reported on Sunday that Marco Silva had prioritised the centre of defence for strengthening before the transfer window closes and as that piece ended, they suggested that Bolasie had already been told he was surplus to requirements and offered up that Palace could be a possible destination.

Reacting to that news on social media, a number of Palace fans were delighted with the idea and they’d warmly welcome him back, so this one seems a no brainer from Everton even if we’ll have to take a hit on the transfer fee given the ludicrous sum we agreed to pay in the first place.
