Chelsea are set to make a transfer bid for one of David Moyes’s top Everton players.

It’s not the first time that Marouane Fellaini has been linked with a big money move, but a £22million bid for the Everton midfielder from Chelsea is going to have to be heavily considered if the report from the Mirror is accurate.

The Belgian International made the move to Goodison Park from Standard Liege back in 2008 and he has become a big fan favourite during his time as an Evertonian.

He’s been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City before, but he thankfully signed a new five-year extension in November to stay at Everton, which puts us in a better negotiating position.

On the pitch Fellaini is invaluable and £22million is not going to replace him on the pitch, the problem comes with our financial position off it.

Are we in a position to turn it down?
